LTV2 TUNING
UPDATE
17TH
November 2005
While the Mushera VHF transmitter is the most popular source from which many people obtain their signal (located just beyond RTE2 VHF) we’ve now put a new UHF transmitter in place in the Millstreet Railway Station direction. This is of great significance to our Viewers living in Millstreet Town and environs. For those who’re already receiving the Knocknagree SLTV service they are at a decided advantage in that their UHF aerials are already facing the correct direction north of Millstreet. All that’s necessary to do is to dedicate a separate channel by manually storing Channel 50 UHF on a new button. This will then provide an excellent signal from our new transmitter giving the full one-and-a-half hours of the complete LTV2 programme both on Thursdays and Sundays while BBC2 is provided free of charge when LTV2 programmes are not being broadcast.
For those without the dedicated Knocknagree SLTV aerial we advise contact with qualified television installers who could indicate what’s necessary to obtain the best signal. (Seán Radley for LTV2 Millstreet)
