Having previously spent time in hospitals in Australia and New Zealand,
Denis o’Regan was diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder after Spanish Police
found him disorientated and lost. He has since got his life back in order
and has started a social group called ‘Inside Out’ especially for people
with mental health issues.
On this week’s edition of ‘Where the road takes me’, John Greene drops in
on their fortnightly meeting at St. Michael’s Centre in Bandon.
People who suffer from depression, schizophrenia and those who suffer from
both tell their stories and raise their concerns on the current state of
mental health treatment in the country.Colette who was subjected to eighteen years of mental and physical cruelty
in an orphanage speaks about how her time there effected her in adult life.

people reacts to their concerns.
