Millstreet is revving up for the two day mighty machinery show which will run here on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Those with some to offer can still contact the Wallis Arms Hotel and leave their details there. Or contact the office at the Green Glens 02970800.
The annual machinery show brings business people from all parts of the country, where they can exhibit their wares indoors, in the comfort of the Green Glens Arena. The month of January is moving on and all the things that were fazed down for Christmas are up and running again. And please bear in mind that all the reminders that were voiced before the Festive Season, about shopping at Home should continue to take effect right throughout the year. Our stores and services need our support every day. Last week I was unable to bring you my report because my system was down and I had to buy a new laptop. Lucky for me, we have a wonderful store in town where I was able to get a brand new model for four hundred Euro. At the PC Spare Parts Ireland Store at the Bridge. The friendly service included the full set up of the appliance, and I was ready to go. And if I needed help it was only a few minutes away. We must never under-estimate the value of our local town.
And the talk of our town at the moment is the final of The Millstreet Got Talent Competition , which will be held at the Wallis Arms Hotel on Friday, January 26th, Organised by the Community Council, it promises to be a glittering event with up to thirteen finalists battling for their share of the 800 Euro prize money. Please keep that date free and give it your best support, Adm. €5.
