Millstreet Vintage Club held a Highly Successful Spring Car Run on Sunday last, with 35 fabalous Cars taking part the Event was blessed with great Weather along the way, the Cars left Millstreet just after 12 noon and made there way over the County Bounds through Rathmore, Barraduff, Glenflesk, and then back over the Border into Co.Cork again with a stop at The Abbey Hotel in Ballyvourney for some refreshments, from there the Cars continued on into Macroom, then on to the Ballinagree Road, before heading up for Mushera, and from there winding down past Knocknakilla Stone Circle, and on into the finish in Millstreet, where everyone adjourned for a Meal in the Wallis Arms Hotel. The Run was well received and enjoyed by everyone that took part and both Denis O’Flynn and Bernard Crowley who organised the Event want to thank all the People that participated and supported the Run on the day and to Everyone that helped out with Marshalling, Registration etc., many thanks for your help. Also, we wish to thank the Photographers and Media People for covering the Run and to both The Wallis Arms Hotel Millstreet and the Abbey Hotel in Ballyvourney for the use of there Premises and there Hospitality, without all your help and support the day would not have been the success that it was.
