Last Saturday brought a delightful Artisan Market in the Square. There were some really mouth-watering foods on offer as the smell of cooking in the open-air filled the square, and there was something for everyone on offer. The market was a very welcome addition for the day, and it was well attended, with a nice crowd browsing the stalls through the afternoon. It’s something we are sure that people would like to see more of.
Some of the stalls that attended were Katies Real Chocolate (quality handmade chocolates), Rebel Chilli (some very very hot chilli sauces), HAMMAMI KEBAB (delicious kebabs, Tunisian foods and spices), our own Nibbles Bakery (gorgeous homemade brown bread, scones, queen cakes etc from the West End), O’Flynns Kitchen, and Ice Cream stall, jewelery, log baskets, wood carvings, kitchen utensils, plants, hand made soaps and more.
The Millstreet Development Group (and especially Elenor from Nibbles) should be praised for this worthwhile project.
