MILLSTREET CHURCH ALTAR SOCIETY for 26th Sept & 3rd October Group D.

“DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME PROGRAMME”. Parents and guardians of children receiving First Holy Communion in 2011 are invited to attend a meeting on Tuesday 5th October in the Parish Centre at 8.00p.m.  This meeting will give parents/guardians an opportunity to fully understand this Parish based programme.  The enrolment for “Do this in Memory” will take place during Vigil Mass in Millstreet on Saturday 9th October for Millstreet and Cloughoula and on Sunday 10th October in Cullen at 10.15a.m.  All parents/guardians are asked to participate in this programme.

NEW WEEKEND MASS SCHEDULE –

Following consultation with the Parish Pastoral Council the following decisions regarding Mass times were made.  The change in Mass Times will be effective from Saturday October 2nd

MILLSTREET:     Vigil Mass at 6.30p.m. & Sunday Morning 11.30p.m.

BALLYDALY:      Sunday Morning at 9.00a.m.

CULLEN:               Sunday Morning at 10.15a.m.

Community Notices

v      ANNUAL HARVEST MASS will be celebrated in Cullen Church on Saturday (25th) at 8.00p.m.  This will be the last Saturday evening Mass in Cullen.  Cullen Special Needs Association, Cullen National School and the greater Cullen community will participate in this Mass.  A “Pandy Night” will be held in the Community Centre after Mass.  Our local musicians will provide music for the occasion.  Beidh fáilte is fice roimh cách.

v      A meeting of the parents & friends of Cullen Special Needs Association and Cullen National School will be held in the Community Centre on Monday (20th) at 8.00p.m. to finalise arrangement for the “Pandy Night”

v      MILLSTREET PIPE BAND:  Church Gate Collection next weekend (25th/26th)

v      RATHMORE FAMILY & FAIR DAY:  Sunday (26th). Something for everyone

v      MILLSTREET LIBRARY:  Magic Workshop on Sat (25th) from 12-1.00p.m.

v      MILLSTREET COMMUNITY SCHOOL:  Mass for first year students and their families Tuesday (21st) at 8.00p.m. in School Library.

v      SET DANCING CLASSES: in Ballydaly hall on Wednesday 22nd at 8.30
