COMMUNION CALLS TO THE SICK & HOUSEBOUND:

Fr. Fitzgerald will make his Communion Calls for the month of October on:

Thursday (30^th) for the Millstreet Area & Friday (1^st) for the Cullen Area.

“DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME PROGRAMME”. Parents and guardians of children receiving First Holy Communion in 2011 are invited to attend a meeting on Tuesday 5^th October in the Parish Centre at 8.00p.m.  This meeting will give parents/guardians an opportunity to fully understand this Parish based programme.  The enrolment for “Do this in Memory” will take place during Vigil Mass in Millstreet on Saturday 9^th October for Millstreet and Cloughoula and on Sunday 10^th October in Cullen at 10.15a.m.  All parents/guardians are asked to participate in this programme.

NEW WEEKEND MASS SCHEDULE –

Following consultation with the Parish Pastoral Council the following decisions regarding Mass times were made.  The change in Mass Times will be effective from Saturday October 2^nd

MILLSTREET:     Vigil Mass at 6.30p.m. & Sunday Morning 11.30a.m.

BALLYDALY:      Sunday Morning at 9.00a.m.

CULLEN:               Sunday Morning at 10.15a.m

Community Notices

v      MILLSTREET YOUTH CLUB will re-open on Friday 1^st October between 8.00p.m. & 10.00p.m.  Everyone attending must bring their registration forms with them.

v      150^th ANNIVERSARY of St. Joseph’s Church, Rathmore:  Tuesday 28^th & Wednesday 29^th: 150 years commemorated in mime in Church at 8.00p.m.  Friday 1^st Oct Youth Celebrations with Fr. Pat O’Donnell at 7.30p.m.  Wednesday 6^th – Healing Mass at 8.00p.m. Friday October 8^th:  Concelebrated Mass of Thanksgiving with Bishop Billy Murphy at 8.00p.m.

v      DRISHANE MASS:  On Thursday (30^th) the eve of the feast of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Little Flower, Drishane Castle at 8.30p.m.  All welcome and light refreshments will be served afterwards.
