Congrats to Tom Murphy Jnr. from Tullig last week won the Junior section of the Irish Forest Rally Championships in his Peugeot 205 GTi. Even though he failed to finish in the final round of the series, his main competitor Ian Downey also failed to finish, thus leaving Tom to take the title, becuase of the points he had notched up in the previous five rounds.
He has also been nominated for the prestigious Motorsport Ireland Billy Coleman Award for 2010 which brings with it a prize fund of €50,000.
