Sincere congratulations to Aubane’s St. John’s G.A.A. Club’s truly magnificent win in the Junior B Football Championship on Saturday night in Millstreet Town Park. The very popular Club has members from not just Aubane and Mushera but well beyond. At the Club’s Annual Church gate Collection over the weekend not just one but two superb Cups were proudly displayed. Trainer Jimmy Murphy had a very busy schedule on Saturday night as he made it in time following the successful outcome in the important match to be present at “The Pub” in Carriganima to present substantial cheques to both Millstreet and Macroom Hospitals (fuller pictorial report on that event later) as a result of the Annual Fun Run in Carriganima. Since this event began a most impressive €13,000.00 has been presented to assist fundraising in the hospitals. Here we share some 11 images from the uplifting weekend.
