The keynote speaker will be Laura Reidy. Laura is a Senior HR Consultant with the HR Suite. She works across a wide range of industries and sectors providing business owners and managers with best practice advice on all HR related issues including People Management and Employment Law to both small and large scale organisations.
She will cover the legislation in relation to the employment of people with a disability, workplace ergonomics, disclosure etc. Information will also be provided on the range of state supports available to employers to support those with disabilities in the workplace i.e. wage subsidy scheme, job interview interpreter grant, workplace equipment grant/adaption grant, personal reader grant, disability awareness training supports scheme, employer retention grant scheme.
