With the superb assistance of Millstreet Tidy Towns Association, Cork Co. Council Millstreet Branch and Millstreet Community Council four new hugely impressive outdoor seats have been put in place in Millstreet – one outside St. Patrick’s Church – one near the Eurovision 1993 Display at West End Car Park and two more within the Pollinator Park in Drishane Road – all illustrated in our images below. MCC had presented a cheque from the sale of the 2019 Calendar which helped to fund the cost of the four seats made in Ballingeary from Recycled Plastic. The very comfortable seats are already proving to be wonderfully popular. Sincere thanks to All involved in the installation of the four splendid seats. Click on the pictures to enlarge. (S.R.)

Lovely to see the extra seating throughout Millstreet, especially on the recent warm days, it reminded me, that summer is here when you see people taking the time to sit and chat or eat ice cream. Hurry on sunny days.
Great to see new seating from recycled plastic around Millstreet. The Pollinator Park looks good; pity it is closed to the public and no one can enjoy sitting there.
