Community Notices

  • ANNUAL HARVEST AFTERNOON on this Sunday – Laitiarain Sunday. Activities include: vintage display, 5k family run at 12.30p.m; donkey derby; children’s sports, live music; butter making display & many more side shows.

  • AUBANE GROTTO: Mass will be celebrated at Aubane Grotto on Friday 26th July at 8.00p.m. to celebrate the 40th anniversary of when it was first blessed.

  • MILLSTREET COMMUNITY COUNCIL presents “Party in the Park” on next Saturday 27th July in Millstreet Town Park. Activities commence at 12.00p.m and will include afternoon tea from 3.00p.m, live music & BBQ from 5.00p.m.

  • MILLSTREET TIDY TOWNS: Annual Church gate collection at Masses next weekend (27th/28th July). Your continued support is appreciated.

  • THANK YOU to everyone who supported the recent Church gate collections in Cullen & Ballydaly in aid of North Cork Branch of M.S. Ireland. Total collected €675.

  • MILLSTREET COMMUNITY HOSPITAL wish to thank everyone who supported their Church gate collection last weekend. Total donated €2,848.44.

  • BALLYDALY CHURCH: Jewellery was found in Ballydaly church last weekend. Please contact the Parish office.

  • MILLSTREET VINTAGE CLUB will hold a charity Truck run on next Sunday 28th July in aid of the newly formed Irish Community Rapid Response Aer Ambulance Service. The run will leave the K&L depot at 12 noon and will return back there again where the trucks be displayed and there will be a BBQ, Entertainment and a Fundraising draw. Denis O’Sullivan Coach Travel will have a bus taking part in the run and people are welcome to come on board and be part of the day. The organising committee are asking people attending 11.30a.m. Mass next weekend to be mindful of parking on Clara road. There will be stewards on duty to keep the area as clear as possible.   • PARISH FINANCE REPORT 2018: A copy of the Parishes 2018 finance report is available at the back of each church. Thank you for your continued support and I would encourage those who have not returned their CHY Certs to the Parish office to do so during the coming week.
