Well done to those who have already painted their places and put up window boxes and keep the town litter free. The extra seating around the town adds an air of hospitality and ease to the whole scene.

The weather was not kind to circus lovers when the owners, Gerbola, failed to raise the Big Top because of the strong winds.
So they had to pack up and move on to their next town, where we hope they had better success.

The results of the Leaving Certificate are out today and will bring different news to different students. But come what may, they will go out and celebrate which has given many a parent a sleepless night. We dearly hope that our young people will be careful in their efforts to kick off the shackles of the dreaded Leaving Cert. And bear in mind that there is room for everybody both in college and in the workplace. So Good Luck.

Sean Radley wishes to thank all those who supported his recent church gate collection of the Museum/Website Fund, which amounted to €2,275,98. Which was great but its the only income he has for this facility which is so important for our town. So please bear in mind that donations are welcome anytime.
Tune in to Sean every Tuesday night on line at Cork Music Station, which broadcasts to the whole world and Sean gets feedback from lots of far away places, which is great. His entry on our web this week recalling the Mass on Clara Mountain in the year 2000 drew great interest. Sadly lots of faces no longer with us . But that’s life.
We’re proud the see that 101 people donated blood when the Irish Blood Transfusion Service came here recently. Well done to all who gave.

There are many notice boards in the Town giving information on what we have to offer the visitor, and Our Museum is a must where Sean and his helper are only too glad to give you all the information,to make your visit to Millstreet all the more enjoyable.
