The presentation of a very impressive €2,092.65 cheque – the fruitful result of the annual Donal Guiney Memorial Table Quiz which took place in McCarthy’s Bar on 4th Oct. 2019 – happened at Rathcoole Airfield on Sat. 30th Nov. 2019 in the presence of the organising Committee which includes John O’Leary and Deputy Michael Moynihan, T.D. from the Millstreet Fianna Fáil Cumann and personnel from Air Ambulance. The Air -ambulance is an absolutely marvelous service since we do not have a twenty four Accident and Emergency service in Mallow General Hospital now which was there for many years in the past.
