Broadcaster, Marian Finucane pictured at the graveside of her ancestors in Ballydesmond in November 2000 during the wreath laying ceremony to the memory of her aunt, teacher and Credit Union pioneer, Nora Herlihy. ©Photograph: John Reidy 27-11-2000  …. I had not realised that I was also captured in this historic image by John Reidy as I continued to video the historic occasion in Ballydesmond in 2000.  I later photographed Marian by the graveside also and presented it to her some years later at a Book Launch in Dublin kindly coordinated by Marie O’Connor of Duarigle who is related to the late Marian.  May Marian rest in peace – Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
