RECOMMENDATIONS ISSUED BY THE DIOCESE OF KERRY
The following guidelines regarding the Eucharist are in place for the foreseeable future due to COVID 19 and we are asking for adherence to them please:
The shaking of hands for the Sign of the Peace is suspended.
To minimise the risk of spread of infection communal drinking from the Chalice will be suspended. Only the main celebrant will now drink from the Chalice.
Holy Communion will be administered into the hands only and not onto the tongue.
Everyone administering Holy Communion will now use an alcohol-based hand gel before beginning. This is available on the table in the sanctuary and replaces the bowl, water and towel.
Community Notices
- CULLEN PIPE BAND will hold its annual Cake Sale and colouring contest in the band hall after 10.15a.m. Mass next Sunday. All baked goods welcome. Teas & coffees will be served.
- MILLSTREET GAA will hold a clothes collection in the GAA Hall on next Saturday 14th between 11.00 & 2.00p.m.
- PATRICK’S DAY PARADE will commence at 4.45p.m. with live music in the Square from 4.15p.m. Participants & spectators welcome.
