Photographer supreme, Valerie O’Sullivan recently visited Tubrid Holy Well where she captured a wonderful selection of images one of which features on the front page of this week’s “Irish Catholic” national newspaper (20th Aug. 2020). Also included is a photographic feature within the popular weekly newspaper. Valerie’s images oftentimes appear on booklets, calendars etc. within the Diocese of Kerry and far beyond….as well as on national and international newspapers. It was Valerie who took the world famous picture of the laughing Queen Elizabeth with Pat O’Connell at Cork’s English Market. Pat Breen who coordinates the distribution of the Catholic Papers here in Millstreet Parish indicates that extra copies of the “Irish Catholic” will soon be available in St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet.
