The true value of Internet Radio – our own Cork Music Station – was wonderfully demonstrated on this Tuesday’s “Radio Treasures” (13th Oct. 2020) when an hour before the programme I got in contact with Joan Healy of Drishane Road, Millstreet to indicate that Joan’s late husband the great Conchubhar Ó hÉalaithe would be featuring on an Archival Recording scheduled to be broadcast at 10pm. By the time of transmission Joan’s superb Family were tuned in worldwide and sent many uplifting live messages to our programme. Here we share a selection of those much appreciated messages:
