Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on this Tuesday Morning .

Well the Kennelly Archives are certainly causing quite a stir in Millstreet and beyond. The Kennelly Archives are displayed on the Millstreet Website and they contain up to a hundred photographs taken at a dance in Millstreet in 1960. People from that time are glued to the screen trying to identify those on it. And there is an opportunity to buy the ones of your choice. Some people never seem to change. There are pictures of  courting couples  who went on to get married, others who were single,  all at the cross roads of life and thankfully, most of them are still with us to-day.

The Spring Farm Machinery Show will be held at the Green Glens Arena for three days this week, starting to-morrow Wednesday. Opening each day at noon and remaining open till ten each night.

The   people of Ballydaly, will hold a re-union of their  GAA teams past and present, at the Wallis Arms Hotel on this Friday January 21st .Music by the Kelt. Tickets at €25 each on sale over wide area.

The Rylane Boxing Club continues to make waves. And they are heading for the National Stadium this weekend, with Timmy Lehane from Aubane, competing in the semi final of the Novice Seniors at 64 Kgs.

Dean Desmond at 81 Kgs is also in the Semi Final of the novice Senior.

Dan Lane as always is their Coach and his son Daniel is in the Quarter Final of the Heavy Weight section. The Semi-finals will be held on Friday night  January 21st and those who are successful will box in the finals on Saturday  night. We wish all concerned the very best of good luck.

The annual Weigh-In  resumed in Cullen last night and 111 people weighed in. It will continue for the  coming six weeks. Organised as always by the Cullen and District Special Needs Association, Please give them your best support.

Many hours of Local television is coming to you again this week. LTV1 on Wednesdays at 8.30 and Ltv2 on Thursdays at 10pm. With the repeats starting on Sunday s at 5.and this is a program with a religious theme, very often it’s a recording of a lovely mass celebrated in some rural church.

Four of our 5 thCommunity School Students will travel to Lourdes during the Easter Holidays where they will work as helpers, to people with Special Needs as part of the Irish Pilgrimage Trust. And to help raise funds for their trip they will hold a Table Quiz at the Community

School on Friday January 28th starting at 8pm.Please support them well.

Set dancing at Ballydaly Hall every Wednesday night from 8.30 to 10 and all are welcome.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in our Church every Wednesday from 10.30 am to 8.30 pm. Please make a little time to drop in. It is held in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at the left of the Main Alter.

Confessions every Saturday from 12.30 to 1.

Morning Mass goers please take note that there will be no morning mass this Thursday. The Rosary will be said at the usual time. But not the Mass.

Millstreet hosted the Munster Scór na nOg semi finals in the GAA Community Hall on Saturday night. Qualifiers from Cork, Kerry and Limerick competed in a mixed cultural programme.

Millstreet were defeated by Ballydesmond in the Nevin Cup Final which was played in Ballydesmond last Friday night.
