Dear Parishioners,
Public worship returns on Monday and I am looking forward to celebrating Mass with a congregation.
Of course, we must continue to be cautious and the following guidelines have been received from our Diocesan Covid Committee which we will be adhering to for the safety of everyone.
- Face coverings must be worn by everyone attending Mass.
- Please continue to sanitise your hands as you enter and leave Churches.
Capacity in our Churches: The limitations regarding numbers that were in place prior to lock-down remain unchanged.
Millstreet Church is permitted to have pods of 50 with maximum capacity being 150. Booking will be necessary for weekend Masses.
Ballydaly Church: Limit of 50 people – booking will continue for the moment.
Cullen Church: Limit of 50 people – booking will continue for the moment.
I am asking people to please contact our Parish Office to reserve a seat. Our office will be re-open to the public from Monday – please remember social distancing in our office also.
This is a big step forward so let us do all we can to stay safe and well.
Fr. Fitzgerald.
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
Life and time are the world’s two teachers.
Life teaches us to make good use of time,
while time teaches us to value life.
