Millstreet has been established as one of 8 Age Friendly towns across Cork which is as a result of a process which began when County Cork committed itself to establishing a county where older people can live full, active and healthy lives by signing up to Ireland’s National Age Friendly Cities and Counties Programme (AFCC).
We have put together a committee locally to help get this initiative off the ground but we need more participants from around the area to help drive some of the plans & projects to help make Millstreet a more Age Friendly town. This committee are working in conjunction with members of Cork County Council to help develop & deliver on projects.
