Corkery, Sr. Nora (Dotie) late of Derreen, Millstreet, Co. Cork and St St Louise’s, Hollyhill, Harbour View Road, Knocknaheny, Cork, on May 1st, 2022, unexpectedly, at University Hospital, Cork. Predeceased by her parents John & Catherine and her sisters Catherine and Ellen Donoghue. Deeply regretted by her community of the Daughters of Charity Hollyhill, her sisters Mary O’Connor, Margaret Leader and Elizabeth Murphy brothers Thomas and Bernard, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnephews,grandnieces, family and friends.

Reposing in Tarrant’s funeral home MIllstreet on Wednesday from 6pm – 8pm. Removal from funeral home on Thursday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet for requiem mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Drishane Cemetery. Mass may be viewed on http://www.churchservices.tv/millstreet
Dotie had the makings of a wonderful nun when she was young. As a class-mate, I never heard her speaking bad of anyone and she was kind to everybody. She was always happy and smiling. Despite the fact that Mother Columba (RIP) said when we were in 2nd year that there would be no “Doties” in the secondary school, our Dotie survived the rule. May Sr. Nora, Dotie, rest in peace with God.
