DIOCESAN COLLECTION NEXT WEEKEND –   LOURDES HELPERS

This year is the 50th Pilgrimage with assisted pilgrims and the theme for this year is “Come here in procession” which Our Lady asked St. Bernadette. The Pilgrimage has changed in many ways over the past 50 years, but the main purpose is still the same, to take the sick to Lourdes and for this we need helpers. Many are students and thus require help to finance the trip and this collection goes towards that effort.  The Helpers Fund also assists pilgrims who may not be able to pay the full fare.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

GROW IN LOVE PROGRAMME

As our children continue their preparation for First Holy Communion, we extend an invitation to the children and their parents to attend our 11.30a.m. Mass next weekend (11th) as part this programme. During the month of February there are two important dates for parents to note. On Wednesday 21st there will be an online talk organised by the Diocese with Dr. Dan O’Connell from Mary Immaculate College as guest speaker. On Wednesday 28th the children of Millstreet & Cloghoula National Schools will make their First Confession at 7.00p.m.and on Thursday 29th the ceremony will take place in Cullen Church for the children of Cullen National School. We thank our parents and schools for supporting this programme.
