Maureen, our truly exceptional Friend has for the past eight years been such a loyal, supremely dedicated and wonderfully popular DJ on Cork Music Station with superb Shows on Friday and Sunday nights broadcast to a global audience.   Many of us on the CMS Team have had the privilege of meeting with the truly cheerful, witty and caring Maureen over the years at special Music Events such as the Michael Commins Galway Concerts.  We treasure the memory of these special get togethers where Maureen would so spontaneously share with splendid humour her outstanding knowledge of the Music World.    Maureen has been and will always be held in the very highest esteem by so many.   We shall all miss her superbly attractive style of broadcasting which brought great delight to her huge number of Loyal Listeners in Ireland and far beyond.    Her heartfelt requests and her totally amazing range of the very best of Country-and-Western songs and music were impressive beyond words.   We extend our prayers and sincere sympathy to all of Maureen’s Family and to her very many Friends.   God rest Maureen’s gentle Soul.   Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.  (S.R. on behalf of the CMS Team)
