The death has occurred of Maurice (Mossie) Cotter, Glenleigh, Kilcorney, Co. Cork and formerly of Kilworth. Mossie passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Monday 14th of October 2024, aged 92, in the care of the wonderful staff of CUH in the presence of his loving family.
Beloved husband of Mary (née McCarthy), loving father of Frances (Kerrisk), Kay (O’Sullivan), Maria (O’Donoghue) and Trish (Kiely). Adored grandfather of Tiernan, Emma, Clóda, Aisling, Odhran, Ailbhe, Aoife, Raonaid, Daragh, Matt and Éabha. Sons-in-law Bart, Seán and John. Sisters-in-law Nora, Anne, Brenda and Sheila (O’Sullivan), nephews, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Frances, step mother Mary, brothers Pad, Dick, Paul, Neilus, Jimmy and Ned.

Reposing in Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Millstreet (P51 XF86) on Wednesday 16th of October from 6pm to 7:30pm. Reception into St. Nicholas’ Church, Kilcorney (P51 FW65), on Thursday 17th of October for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjacent cemetery.
