The death has occurred of Mary Sugrue (née O’Sullivan), Gurrane, Banteer, Co. Cork.
Sugrue (Banteer); On March 21st 2025, peacefully at home in Gurrane, Mary (née O’Sullivan) (Mary Paul), beloved wife of John, mother of Niall, Eoin, Cathal, Tomás and Mary Frances. Daughter of the late Eugene and Lizzie O’Sullivan, sister to Ned and the late Gene, Tom and Margaret, sister-in-law to Charles, Helen, Tom and the late Ted.
Mary will be missed and fondly remembered by her daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, grandniece, cousins, friends and relatives.

Reposing in McCarthy’s Funeral Home, Banteer on Sunday (March 23rd) from 5pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Reception into St. Fursey’s Church, Banteer on Monday (March 24th) for Requiem Mass at 11.30am which can be viewed live at http://www.churchservices.tv/banteer.
