The death has occurred of Mary Duggan (née Lucey), Ballynoe, Lombardstown, Co. Cork.
Duggan (Lombardstown); On March 26th 2025, peacefully and in the presence of her loving family, after an illness bravely borne, in the wonderful and tender care of the staff of St Catherine’s Ward, Marymount Hospice, Cork. Mary (née Lucey), (late Duggan’s Recovery Ltd.) beloved wife of Michael and loving mother of Noel and John. Predeceased by her beloved parents Edmond and Margaret Lucey, sisters Hannah (Kearney) and Ellen (Young), brothers Gerald and infant Edmond. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter-in-law Geraldine, her adored grand-daughter Jazmyne, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in McCarthy’s Funeral Home, Banteer on Thursday evening for Rosary at 8pm. Reposing on Friday evening (28th March) from 6pm followed by removal at 8pm to St. John’s Church, Glantane. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon, burial afterwards in St John’s Cemetery, Glantane. Family flowers only – donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice, Cork.
