 DIVINE MERCY NOVENA

The Divine Mercy Novena will commence after Good Friday ceremonies (at 4.00p.m) and will continue for 9 days at 3.00p.m. in the Church finishing on Divine Mercy Sunday (27th April). On Divine Mercy Sunday there will be Confessions at 2.30p.m. and the Chaplet will begin at 3.00p.m.

PENITENTIAL SERVICES

In preparation for Easter, Penitential Services will be held in our Pastoral area during the coming week.

Dromagh:  Monday 14th April at 7.30p.m.

Kiskeam:  Monday 14th April at 7.30p.m.

Rathmore:  Wednesday 16th April at 7.30p.m.

Millstreet: Wednesday 16th April at 7.30p.m.

 CHRISM MASS: The Chrism Mass will take place in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Killarney at 7. 00p.m. on next Tuesday 15th April.  There will be refreshments after the Mass in St. Brendan’s College refectory.  Everyone is welcome.

Sr. Monica & Sr. Anie of the Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver, sincerely thank you for your generous contributions to their collections last weekend.  The total collected was €1,754.20 for Millstreet Parish.  You will all be remembered in their prayers.

  • MILLSTREET MENS-SHED: Annual General Meeting on next Wednesday (16th) at 8.00p.m. in Old Fire Station, Macroom Road. New members welcome.
  • THANK YOU to every who supported the local collections for Daffodil Day.  The total donated was €7,775.00.  Your support is greatly appreciated.
  • IRISH RED CROSS looking for NEW volunteers to join our Therapeutic Hand Care Team in Millstreet area. Volunteers will be trained to give a Therapeutic hand message and /or a manicure to clients in Millstreet hospital. The relaxing effects of the message is very beneficial, especially for those with painful or stiff joints, it can improve flexibility and suppleness, boost morale of client and it’s a means of communication through touch and spending time with the person is the most valuable aspect of the service. We also get involved with other events locally. If you are interested in finding out more about this established service in our area and would like to join the Irish Red Cross.   • “Turas go hInis Faithlinn”:  Cumann na Sagart are organising a trip to Inisfallen Island, Killarney, on the 15th May, which will include Mass and a talk.  Booking essential – contact Tigh na Sagart, Baile an Fheirtéaraigh on 066-9156131.
  • AUBANE SOCIAL CLUB: Easter Egg hunt on Easter Saturday 19thApril between 10.00 & 1.30p.m. at Aubane Community Centre. 
  • Accord Tralee are recruiting new members for Counselling and facilitating pre-Marriage courses. An open evening will be held in the Meadowlands Hotel on Monday 28th April 2025 at 7.30pm. Contact: 066 7122280/tralee @accord.ie

 VENERATION OF THE CROSS

We will place the Cross on the Altar after our ceremonies in Millstreet & Cullen and invite you to come forward and bow or genuflect in front of it and make a sign of the cross.
