NEW ROMAN MISSAL: Next Sunday marks another step in the journey towards the use of the new edition of the Roman Missal on the First Sunday of Advent. From Sunday Sept 11th, all the missalettes in Ireland will include the new translations of the following texts: The people’s response to the greeting by the Priest; “I confess”; The Gloria; The Apostles’ Creed; and the acclamations for the Eucharistic Prayer as well as the text for the invitation to Communion. This gives all of us an opportunity to become familiar with the new changes, before we start praying them at Mass on November 27th.
