Seán Radley travelled to Dublin today to the inauguration of our new President Michel D Higgins in Dublin Castle. Though he was not in the castle, he was interviewed outside by an RTÉ News crew, stating that he had come up from Millstreet, Co. Cork for the inauguration. The interview later appeared on the 1 o’clock news, and may be on the news bulletins later this evening also. For the next week, you’ll be able to see the short interview on RTÉ Player, and it’s about 13:30 in the video.
Well done Sean.
Thanks a million, Jim and many thanks also to the very kind people who phoned and sent texts when they saw the coverage from Dublin. It was a wonderful and historic occasion to witness and record some behind-the-scene preparations and happenings of the event. I hope to share a selection of the pics on our website later. Thank you, Michael (web co-ordinator supreme) for making the RTÉ television coverage so easy to access on the Millstreet website.
WANTED: Presenter for LTV2 as RTE took our current one.
William – My loyalty to LTV2 Millstreet remains steadfast! Incidentally, apologies for present difficulties with signals but Dan Joe Kelleher and Brendan Murphy have been doing Trojan work in attempting to provide as clear a signal for local television as is possible.
