COMMUNION CALLS TO THE SICK AND HOUSEBOUND: Fr. Fitzgerald will make calls for the month of March during the coming week.
MINISTERS OF THE WORD: Fr. Pat Ahern is holding a special evening in Knocknagree Church at 8.00p.m. on Tuesday 28th during which he will discuss the use of sound systems, phraseology and content of the word. All readers are asked to attend if possible.
EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS: June 10th-17th. Millstreet Parish have been allocated 26 tickets. Application forms are available at Parish Office
LENTEN TALK: Monday 27th February at 8.00p.m. in Millstreet Community School Library. Guest Speaker – Fr. Peter McVerry SJ – “Jesus the Compassionate One”. Fr. McVerry was ordained in 1975. His life work has been to provide practical support to the homeless people and other vulnerable groups. Everyone is welcome to attend. Admission is free but donation of €5 is suggested to cover travel costs for speaker.
