Easter Eco Camp at Millstreet Country Park (10th-12th April)

Millstreet Country Park believe that outdoor education is a life skill everybody should have. It not only educates but gives confidence and energy to every participant. Learning in an outdoor environment should be fun and exciting for students. Our new programme excels in this. Our instructors bring a combined experience in knowledge of outdoor education and ecology. Their enthusiasm allows every group to tremendously enjoy their visit to Millstreet Country Park . Throughout the 3day camp (10th – 12th April) you will get up close and personal with all kinds of flora and fauna while exploring Millstreet Country Park, its gardens and arboretums. Lots of Fun and Fresh air guaranteed! What dwells in the woodlands, meadows, bogs, lakes and rivers of Millstreet Country Park? How do we find signs of animals? What is Ecology? Working with our educational officer, Lorna, participants will discover the wonders of the natural world around them.

Less than one hour from Cork City and only 40mins from Killarney town. Macroom town is only 8kms from the main entrance. Access to Millstreet Country Park is via the N72 >R583 or N22>R582 and more recently greater accessibility from Macroom via N22>L3418>L3419.

Time :- 10am – 2pm daily.
Cost :- €20/ pupil per day. (€25 early starters)€50/ per pupil for all
three days. (€60 early starters)
€5.00 discount if child is a Season Ticket Member.
€5.00 discount if booking 3 or more children.
Cost includes lunch.
Family Fun Tips :- Wear suitable clothing for your Millstreet Country Park’s Easter Eco Camp. Places are limited so early booking is advised. A tremendous success with School Groups and Families over the years.
