MILLSTREET JUVENILE GAA: KELLOGG’S CUL CAMP 2012:
Well it’s that time of year again to start organising our annual GAA Cúl Camp for primary school boys and girls aged between 6 and 13 years of age. Last year, 96 children participated in this week-long camp which consisted of fun-packed GAA activities and we hope to see all these children return again this year for an even better camp! For those who have not attended our camp before, we will provide an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games. Children of all sporting abilities will develop skills in football, hurling and camogie in a safe and fun environment with their friends under the expert hands of qualified coaches and assistants.Prices will remain the same as last year with one child costing €55, the second child in the family costing €45 and the third + child being charged €40. I’m sure you will agree that this is fantastic value as each child will receive a Kellogg’s GAA jersey, shorts, socks and also a kit-bag which is often used in September as a school-bag! As some of you may already know, Kellogg’s are the new sponsors of the Cúl Camp for the next three years and are offering a €5 discount when you book online using the unique code which is currently printed on the inside of the Kellogg’s Cereal boxes. If you wish to avail of this offer, simply log onto https://secure.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/booking/ and follow the online booking instructions. I ask that all online bookings be completed on or before the 21st May as I will be ordering the kits at the end of that week. If you book online after this date, I cannot guarantee a kit will be available for your child and you may also incur a €5 fine for a late booking. If possible, it would be of huge help to me if you could text ‘Online Booking Just completed for ______ (number) child/ children’ to 087 9533213 when you have completed the process. (Please save all booking registration details, especially the booking number.)
For those of you who do not wish to book online, we will hold a ‘Registration Evening’ Wednesday May 16th from 7pm- 8pm in the GAA Hall Kitchen. Again, if registration forms are received after the 21st May, there is a possibility that your child may not receive their kit or the company may charge a €5 fine to accommodate late orders. Registration forms and fee may also be posted to Ciara Hickey, Mountleader, Millstreet, Co. Cork.
(Registration forms will be given out in the schools on May 16th. Please have the forms filled out before coming to the GAA Hall. Cheques are to be made payable to Millstreet Juvenile GAA Club.)
I will not be accepting any registrations after June 15thas final arrangements for groups and number of coaches/ assistants must be made at that time. If you have any enquiries about our camp, please contact me on 087 9533213.

TRANSITION YEAR STUDENTS COMPLETE FOUNDATION LEVEL COACHING COURSE AT MILLSTREET COMMUNITY SCHOOL
Well done to all the students who recently completed the Foundation Level Coaching Course. If any of the students would like to help the trainers with the u8/ u10 trainings, please let me know. If necessary, a rota could be set up. This would be great experience for the students and would look good on their CV in the future.
