I would like to inform people in Millstreet who might remember the Duggan family that Elizabeth sadly passed away in Oxford, England last week. The family lived for many years it the West End (Maurice Linehan’s solicitors office), and then moved to Killarney Rd.
Her parents were Finbar and Dolly. Finbar was the area engineer for almost 30 years. They both died in late 1980. After their deaths the family moved away. Elizabeth became head of the Science Dept in a large Comprehensive school in High Wycombe, England, and married her husband Barry Hunter, who also taught in the same school, while living there.
She is survived by Barry, her sisters Rosario, and Frances, and her brother Brian. May she rest in peace.

Yes, Joe, many people in Millstreet would have very special memories of the wonderful Duggan Family. We wish to extend heartfelt and sincere sympathy to the Family on the sad departure of Elizabeth to her Eternal Reward. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
Thank you for all the very kind messages of sympathy .Liz was laid to rest in a beautiful old English churchyard last Wednesday on a scorching hot summers day.Although she spent most of her adult life in England ,Liz remained a true Irish and Cork woman and talked a lot of her fond memories of Millstreet and her friends there,as do all of us. If anyone has any photos of Liz I’d love to see them.
Regards to all in Millstreet
Frances Duggan.
