  1. A Heartfelt thanks to all those who attended my mothers service and offered kind words and support these last few days.It Would have meant a lot to my mother to see so many faces from Millstreet. Hope to see you all again in better circumstances..Slan.

    1. It was indeed a very real privilege to have been present at the Funeral Mass in the Church of the Real Presence for the late Kitty. Brian’s very moving and inspiring tribute to his Mum at the end of Mass was so special indicating how wonderfully welcoming Kitty always was at her home in Millstreet and in Cork….”The ultimate Mrs. Doyle” as he said – always wishing to make sure that everyone had the tea, the coffee, the scones. The esteem in which she was held was illustrated in the manner by which overseas students who had stayed in the O’Riordan home when doing their third level courses, arranged to visit the family when they became aware that Kitty had become unwell. Brian also mentioned her great love and care for animals. Sandra’s daughter beautifully sang the very appropriate theme song from “Annie” as we left the Church in Curraheen Road, Cork. To her loving husband, Denis, to her two devoted children, Brian and Sandra, to her very caring sister, Sadie and to her wonderfully talented grandchildren and to her many relatives and friends, we extend our heartfelt sympathy with treasured memories of what splendid neighbours the O’Riordan Family were to us all at the Square before going to live in Cork over 25 years ago. Kitty has so enriched all of our lives. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
