The McCarthy Family tomb was filmed in Drishane Cemetery from where we proceeded to meet Michael O’Sullivan (who is quite an expert on the O’Sullivan Beara March and of the Boeing Crossing in 1602). We now include a selection of images relating to this section of day. In the afternoon we had the magical “snow” effect in Drishane and more. This we shall upload in Part 3 of our feature. Let’s now view the extra images of Drishane and the Boeing. (S.R.)
Sean
when is this due to be aired on television
John,
My people are from Millstreet. I had a Great Great Aunt Mary O’Leary (1867-1929) that married a Jeremiah Kelleher. I think they had three kids – Jermiah, Mary and Hugh.
Any family connection??
I will be coming to Ireland in July with my daughter and son.

Patrick – I’m not quite sure but I shall make further enquiries in the light of the information which you provide.

Thank you for the effort.

I took my mother to see the BOeing two years ago.she was 99 and had never seen it.we used to swim in a pool about 50 yards up river when we ,graduated.from the Cuileen in the K illarney road.
Great memory, Derry. Look out for the Boeing appearance with Michael O’Sullivan when the RTÉ documentary is scheduled to be screened in July 2013.
