Daffodil day- Thanks to collectors, contributors and to anyone who helped in any way to make last Friday’s collection a great success. Despite inclement weather conditions people came out and supported this very worthy cause.
Millstreet Monument Committee will hold their Annual Commemoration on Easter Sunday@ 12.30pm. Oration; Brian O’ Rourke.
Millstreet Vintage Club will hold their 4th annual Rally on Sunday next 31st March at K&L Deliveries Mountleader. Proceeds of this year’s event go to Reach Out Cancer Support Group in Millstreet. There will be plenty of entertainment for all the family with activities including, bouncing castle, face painting, egg and spoon race. Children in local schools have completed an Art competition and results will be announced on the day. An Easter Bonnet Parade will also take place at approx 3.00pm.
2.00 pm -2.30pm Venture One Gardening will be on hand to answer all questions regarding gardening.
2.30pm -3.30pm Cookery Demonstration,
3.30pm- 4.00pm Sliabh Luachra Flowers will host a flower arranging demonstration.
Ferguson 20 tractor build will also take place at 3pm.
There will be live music throughout the day and Millstreet Set Dancers will display their skills at 3pm.
Several local craft stands will also be in attendance.
