The parish Lotto Draw was held at the Clara Inn Last night and the Jackpot was not won. Next draw will be at the Wallis Arms Hotel next Sunday night with a Jackpot of €2,800.
A million congratulations to our neighbours in Boherbue on their highly successful Gathering Festival which they held over the weekend. Look up our website for all the photographs. And how wonderful to see one of our own, Fr, Jim Kenneally being their Grand Marshel. The organisers can take a well-earned bow on the good job well done.
The Annual Padre Pio Ceremonies will be held at St Francis College, Rochestown, on Sunday August 11th,at 2.30 pm.

The organisers of last weeks church Gate collection in aid of the Irish Cancer Society want to thank all those who gave so gerenously, it amounted to Just under €2,000.
And there’s a big Thank You from our local Hospital Fund, to all those who supported their recent church gate collections which amounted to €3,732.00.
And when you concider that an average of €3,000 is paid into our Church Restoration Fund every week,it goes to show that the generosity of our people knows no bounds.
And may God reward their kindness.

Our Millstreet International Summer Horse Show will run from August 13 to 18th, and the Green Glens Arena is all set to take the thousands of horses that have entered. Admission will be free throughout, and even if the rain comes down there is ample room, including seating, indoors to take any size competition. And where food and various refreshments can be enjoyed. Trade stands will abound as well as nearby free parking.
Needless to say there will be a huge demand for accommodation, including self-catering houses. If you have the likes to offer, please contact the office at the Green Glens.

Our Little Treasures Pre-School Millstreet Summer Camp is on this week, August 6,7,8 & 9th from 9am to 12noon.

The present Lord Mayor of Ballinagree, Rita O’ Sullivan and Deputy, along with all the past Mayors of Ballinagree are hoping to set a record by inviting all past and present Mayors from anywhere in Ireland.
Our invitation extends to anywhere in the county and beyond to our unique gathering on Sunday the 18th of August at 2 p.m.
