IRD Duhallow Presents Tonight an Illustrated Talk by Jim Wilson entitled “A Trip to the Antarctic”

            IRD Duhallow Bird Watch Group are delighted to welcome Jim Wilson to IRD Duhallow on Tuesday 8^th April. Jim recently returned from ten weeks in the Antarctic and will be sharing his photographs, experiences and knowledge of this vast continent and its amazing bird and wildlife.

 Jim is a wildlife writer, international wildlife tour guide, broadcaster and filmmaker. He established the long running Garden Bird Survey in 1987 and a regular contributor to the Mooney Show on RTÉ Radio 1. Jim’s Publications include the best selling “Irelands Garden Birds”2008 and most recently Jim has written an innovative new photographic field guide “The Birds of Ireland” 2013 with Mark Carmody.
