Millstreet Marymount Hospice Fundraiser Progressing Well

Hurricane Darwin which Ireland experienced in early 2014 resulted in at least one very positive outcome here in Millstreet in that the enormous amount of fallen trees inspired two wonderfully community-spirited gentlemen to use the enormous amount of wooden logs as prizes for a Fundraiser in aid of Cork's Marymount Hospice. Below is a sample of the official ticket. Already the two very dedicated men have fundraised at both Cloghoula N.S. Pattern Day and Kilcorney Feis 2014. The response has been great. A Committee of some six people holds meetings on a regular basis to coordinate the inspiring project for this praiseworthy cause.
