Dia is mhuire diobh go leir a cairde and welcome to News Report 1220 from  Millstreet.Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on this lovely Tuesday morning, the first one in June. The lovely Month of May is gone but not forgotten. It was celebrated in style here in Duhallow t hanks to IRD Duhallow and the many people all over the barony who helped to put a wonderful program together.

One for every single day of the month.

The choice was wide-ranging and flexible, which meant that there was something for everyone. From early morning outdoor Masses, to late night concerts and dances. From photography and tablet training to lunchtime dramas, the list goes on . Last Thursday night in the waking days of the month a wonderful variety concert was held at Freemount. For almost three hours the cream of Duhallow’s talent entertained the large crowd. And in line with true Duhallow hospitality, some welcome refreshments were served to all at half time.
I want to compliment the organisers on their superb nights entertainment and to thanks them for the great time that was had by all.

I also want to compliment all at IRD Duhallow for the way they led to the whole Barony into the month of May, the month of Our Blessed Lady, into an ongoing program of all that is good and historic and wholesome. All concerned can take a bow.

A very large crowd attended our annual outdoor Mass at Tubrid Well on Friday night. And it’s more of the same this very night, when Fr.
