Our monthly Gramaphone Circle meeting will be held this Friday night Jan. 16th at the Canon O Donovan Centre. Starting at 8.15 and all are welcome Presenter Con Kelleher.
Our GAA Club will host their Victory Social at the Dromhall Hotel this Saturday night Jan 24th. Tickets will go on sale at the GAA Hall this Friday Night Jan 16th from 8pm.

Theres a meeting at the Bush Bar on Thursday night Jan 15th at which the proceeds of the Boeing Swim will be presented to Arthritis Ireland. Starts at 7.30 and all are welcome.
And on Tuesday January 20th the Aubane Social Club will present the proceeds of their Christmas Day Climb of Mushera Mountain to the Aubane Community Alert, Starts 8.30 and all are welcome.
A very pleasant function was held at the Wallis Arms hotel on Thursday nightm,organised by the Community Council to mark the retirement of Garda Sergant Paul O Donovan. A presentation was made on behalf of our community and in his address Noel Buckley praised Sergeant Paul for his many years of dedication to the community, and wished his many years of Happy retirement. A Bouquet of flowers was presented to his lovely wife Anne who is also a member of the Force.
On behalf of our Community I want to extend sincere congratulations to Kanturk Colaiste Treasa but mainly to the brilliant students Eimear Murphy and Ian O Sullivan on their outstanding success at the BT Young Scienticts Exhibition in Dublin during the week.
Transition Students from Millstreet Community School were also represented at the Competition.
We are all very excited that our Website has been nominated for a National Award in the Best Connected Community Section. Three member of the crew, Sean Radley, Hannelie O Connor and Michael Cashman, will travel to Dublin on Saturday January 24th to attend the ceremony.
