Steam Train 461 Visits Millstreet and is Enthusiastically Welcomed
On an historic day in Millstreet (Sunday 10th May 2015) when a wonderful celebratory parade in honour of All-Ireland winners Chloe Barrett, Megan Lehane and Linda Desmond took place, an enthusiastic welcome awaited the superb Steam Train (despite the constant rain!) arriving in Millstreet Station from Cork. It remained at the 1853 Station for almost ten minutes. Later on its return journey it passed through with its marvellous steam, its nostalgic whistle sound and its truly elegant movement. It’s been several years since we last witnessed a Steam Train in Millstreet. LTV2 Millstreet recorded the magnificent event. Click on the images to enlarge. (S.R.)
