Here are the results of this weeks Parish Lotto draw which was held at the Wallis Arms Hotel on Sunday Night. Numbers drawn were 6,16.24,31.and the Jackpot was not won. €100 went to Tadg Collins.The seller was Patsy Mac and he got €50 sellers prize. €50 went to Breda Tarrant Annagloor. €20each to theHealy Family Keale, Tim Long ,Inchees ,Sinead Flahive, Drishane Rd. The next Lotto Draw will be on Sunday January 10th 2016 .It will be held at Tarrants Bar, Jackpot €6.400.
The race continues to be ready for Christmas Day on Friday. Shops and services are reporting good trade and our new Christmas lights in the town continue to bring joy. People home with their little ones are drawn to the monster teddy bear at the monument and line up for a photo right away.
At Mass on Sunday the last of the Pascal Candles was lit heralding the end of Advent and Christmas is next. Our Crib is already erected at the end of the church and this year it is more spectacular than ever in its brand new surroundings and lighting. A lovely tree and other plantations adorn the chapel yard ,and the lovely church choir have been practicing to make sure that the true spirit of Christmas will glow for us all. This evening Tuesday Dec. 22nd we will have the Penetial Services, when visiting priests will be available for confessions and the Blessed Sacrement will be exposed in the church from 7.30 to 8.30.
In Millstreet, Christmas Eve Mass will be at ten and the Church Choir will give a recital from 9.30.
Christmas Morning Masses are at 8.30 and 11.30.
In Cullen the Christmas Eve Mass will be at 7.30,and on Christmas Morning at 10.15.
Ballydaly Christmas Morning at 9.
All Masses will be said for the people of the Parish.
The annual collection in aid of our Church Restoration Fund will be held at all masses at Christmas.

Aside of that we have many events for you to enjoy over the holiday period. The Annual Christmas Day climb of MusheraMountain organised by the Aubane Social Club goes ahead at 10.30 .Proceeds go to good causes.
Millstreet GAA Club have a St.Stephan’s Day walk ,Registration at 11am at the Hall.
Annual New Years Day Swim in the Black Water starts at 12.30. And this year they will have a chance to see the new bridge which has gone a long way to fruitition in spite of bad weather and heavy flooding.
In spite of the rain we’ve had carol singers out in the town at various times.
A gala concert was recorded by LTV at the pub in Carriginma on Tuesday night last, given by the newly formed North Star.They are a group of children from the greater Cullen area who came together , made a CD and gave the proceeds to Charity.
Also on the night was the up and coming singer,17yr old Laura Dunlea, from Duhallow ,I feel we’ll hear a lot from Laura, in the future.
Millstreet Branch of St.V de Paul want to say many thanks to all those who gave so generously to their recent Church gate collection.
Collections are still being held locally in aid of Penny Dinners,Simon and lots more. Watch out for the collection points in the shops and at ORegan’s Mill etc.
And we can only say well done to all the people who organise these events and of course those who gave.
The Marian Players in Rathmore and working hard on the annual Panto which comes out after Christmas.
This time they’re staging ‘The Babes in the Wood’.

Our Shops and services are still well stocked with gift ideas to suit all pockets. Our Bookshop ,Wordsworth has many new books with a local flavour and also our Millstreet Calendar for 2016. and the selection of boxed gifts in the other shops is just amazing .So try them before venturing elsewhere.
There are hours of local television to be enjoyed over the Christmas Season. Both on UTube at any time or TV On Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9.30 or from 5.30 on Sunday evenings.
Local TV is now being transmittied from ClaraMountain and can accessed on Annalogue 30 or 35.
