Indeed Rev Bro Vincent is the greatest gift Ireland has given M’sia and as his former students, we will be forever indebted by his great contributions.
Thousands of students in St Michael’s Institution owe Bro. Vincent and the La Sallelian brothers a great debt of gratitude. Through living his life as a humble educator, he became the moral compass of teenagers like me. He formed not only our academics but more importantly our character. Together with the many teachers of our beloved school, he has produced many bright people who are themselves giving back to society through their own careers and vocations. He has enabled many of us to serve not only in various parts of Malaysia but in many, many countries, from Australia to the United States (I even know of one classmate who runs a pub in Ireland!).
To Bro. Vincent, we thank you for your sharing your life with us. We are indeed grateful to have the privilege of being shepherded by you.
