Congratulations to Denise Collins from Knocknaloman, who was crowned the Cork Rose from forty five contestants on Saturday evening, in the Silversprings Hotel.
Denise, attended Hollymount National School is now a teacher in Davis College, Mallow. She is a daughter of Pat and Margaret Collins, and her mum is the matron in Millstreet Community Hospital.
The Rose of Tralee takes place from the 17th to the 23rd of August.
