Crossfield Star owned and trained by Brendan O’Shea (Cockhill) will be running in the Betfair Open 600 Final, the big race at Shelbourne Park tonight at 9:40pm live on RTÉ2 TV. He’s been drawn again in trap 6, and if he runs like he did in the semi-final (see video below), he’ll have a great chance.

Result: in a very tight final, he never got ahead at the first bend, and remained on the outside for the rest of the race, finishing 5th in a time of 32:83, (a good time in its own right) in what was a very tight race (see the video below)
